You are absolutely right. Ron Carlini at Amati told me this several months ago. He emphasized then and it's still true that the importance of the contract was in the line code chosen, DMT or CAP. At that time he hoped DMT would "show." Now how this affects WSTL, I don't know. If they decide to retool for more DMT over CAP, how much does this cost. Their annual report mentions the costs involved with ramping up for new technology, "specifically ADSL." How costly is it to switch from CAP to DMT, assuming, of course, that they will? Is it nominal?
