City slicker is visiting a farm. Asks the farmer why that cow doesn't have horns.

Well, says the farmer, there are a number of reasons a cow might not have horns.

Some breeds don't have horns.
Sometimes on a calf we will place a couple of drops of acid on the emerging horns and that keeps them from growing.
Sometimes they become infected and we have to remove them.

But the reason that cow doesn't have horns is that it is a horse.
