The Moron-in-Chief has done the best he can to ruin our relationship with Saudi Arabia.

The problem was that the criticism of the OPEC+ oil production cut was completely unnecessary.

Team Biden knows so damn little about the global oil market. ,

The cut is seasonal because, as the need to cool down the intense Summer heat in the Middle East, North Africa and West Africa abates, there is less need for energy to do so. So production gets cut, no political overtones whatsoever to the maneuver.

According to Anas Alhajji, a pre-eminent global authority on oil, this is a well-known feature of global oil consumption.

If Team Biden knew (doubtful), perhaps they would not have done their level best to continue to screw up a strategic relationship.

As the article below shows, it is personal between The Dummy and MBS.

Gawd, what an idiot.

Plus, the embargo on Russian oil is so crazy. The Middle East producers are buying it at a discount, using it domestically, then (naturally) selling the oil they would have produced and used domestically at a non-discounted price.

The geniuses in DC didn't think of that angle.
