Elon Musk likes to personalize politics - he’s like a medieval knight - ready to risk his life for truth and justice (haven’t heard of him wanting to fight for any beautiful ladies, though. Maybe the divorce ruined it for him). There is something endearing about it - he’s willing to fight Putin, a marshal arts expert (albeit an old guy) - in order to prevent bloodshed in Ukraine.

As far as Garry Kasparov - as smart as he is, technically speaking, he was never able to accept the fact that computers are better at crunching data. All he had to do was to play [only] humans. He - an inspired youthful genius - was derailed by a bunch of lowly semiconductors. And he was dumb enough to allow this defeat to stand… as a central event of his life.

The rest is kind of boring. Mischievous Putin tickled the prima-donna the wrong way - and gave him a new purpose in life.

Edit - imagine a computer that generates a beautiful singing voice. Wouldn’t it be dumb if human singers took it personally - and quit?
