Socialized medicine has already gutted "quality" in health care... as the socialized corruption driving "Covid" related "care" clearly shows. Covid provides a proof... but is not unique in driving rather than exposing the shift that has been replacing doctors who are people who care... with a central directive dictating what they will do to us in the interest of advancing some agenda that has nothing to do with a real person who is a doctor exercising their best judgement in caring for you.

I trust doctors to "care" for me... as much as I trust politicians to make my health care decisions for me...

It happens I know a lot of doctors... a lot of my prior work in innovation is incorporated in health care advancements at various levels. But, improvements in technology or a scientific understanding of disease are not the same thing as "better care" ? It also happens that the doctors whose opinions I've learned to respect have all left their practices. Some have opted to retire early. Some have simply walked away... to be replaced with compliant widgets. "This is what failure looks like"... is a proper analysis. But, yes, you are correct that the broad recognition of the failures already imposed will often take far longer than seems reasonable.

On the bright side... we're probably already long past the point where interaction with an analytic AI is likely to be more useful to you and your self interest in health care than any interaction with a state directed widget.

But, of course, the error that requires you to see... is in the assumption that "the state solution' is inherently correct because of the nature of its origin...

Your reply exposes that... slavish willingness to genuflect to authority, independent of context or self interest... as being something you crave... because "one size fits all" appeals to you as "just" (when it is not) and as it absolves you of any responsibility for making decisions yourself ?
