My guess is any issues (pun unintended) with US treasuries will be in the secondary market where their typical liquidity could be less now with people holding with mark-to-market losses.

I doubt there would be any liquidity issues from holding to maturity and the US Treasury paying what is owed unless what comes due is between the debt ceiling being reached before Congress approves extending it. Even then, my guess is the worst that would happen is maturing treasuries would not be paid off until the debt ceiling was raised or they figure out "tricks" to temporarily borrow more and repay small investors who vote.
