"Paid for"... made "free" by force... isn't a determinant of "quality"... more nearly the exact opposite as a necessity in terms of the reality in the way people are wired. Socialism seeks to defy the reality of (positive) elements of fundamental human nature... fails... and then feigns confusion about why the most obvious elements in human behavior manifest themselves as one should expect. Again, the logic, has you confusing one thing with another... and calling them the same... "Taxes" or not as the means... has zero to do with "quality" in the definition of any deliverable ? "Taxes" as means are not inherently inimical to quality... but means are not independent of other functions... and those other functions often are... But, "who benefits" ($$$) from forcing others to pay... is always relevant... Socialism as "just another (but not the only) transfer scheme" that operates at the cost of destroying efficiencies... always proceeds to excess... always fails when it runs out of other peoples money to spend... but, too often overlooked, more in the degree, is that "some benefit more than others" from enabling any such scheme... and that's how the rich get richer by "caring" enough to force you to pay them for stealing from you. Socialism... is a capitalist scam... fostered by the wealthy to enable efficiencies in their thefts...r And the rest is fakery and fraud in "nothing to see here"...
