You are taking an immensely complicated issue and trying to make it black or white Others here are being equally ignorant and dishonest on the other side of the political aisle. Inflation has zero to do with the fact the "poor" are not running the country. Governments role here is to make do with policy to get us through unexpected bad shit - like a pandemic or war in Ukraine. Biden did a poor job. BUT so did Trump who compounded the issue. Put two inflationary administrations together and you have the mess we have today. Look at history to see two recent examples to remove the evil of inflation; Reagan and Obama. Both took over a complete fucked up mess by their predecessor. For Carter that was the oil issue, for Bush it was a housing collapse. Reagan and Obama both did amazingly well. That was especially unique for Obama in that he fixed things WITHOUT a world of inflationary shit as part of the solution. (If he had listened to Krugman inflation would have grabbed us then too). I miss Obama!!! So should every patriotic American.
