Steve ubs came out with a comment on alcatel (They have put alcatel and dmt as front runners more than a month ago). If I understood it correctly they have chosen dmt over cap and in their opinion alcatel is the only company that can start delivering dmt modems in large numbers as of now. They have also placed a recomendation on bay networks and such as the best bet in adsl war. In their opinion it is almost impossible to say who will be a winner a year from now but one thing for sure they will all need atm switches and hence the companies that make them will benefit.
