Never watched Downton Abbey but I'm pretty sure they had no mention of their traitor Edward who was secretly colluding with Hitler to be reinstated King when they would take over Britain. Plus, they're all descendants of the Battenburgs of Hesse-Darmstadt. Conveniently changed the name to Mountbatten during WW1 so as to appear more "British". These things get conveniently swept under the rug.....would be terribly rude to bring up such topics in the right company. Hypocrites, the lot of them.......
