A hammer can be a deadly weapon if it is properly used. I don't see how the older guy could be declared to be able to recover so quickly unless his attacker slipped a contact or couldn't see in the dark or was totally out of it before hand. Seems like an odd or should I say typically San Franciscan type of story.

By the way, references to the Castro district, reminds me, I grew up visiting old relatives that lived in the Castro, spent a lot of holidays there back when normal people populated the city. Of course that was well over 50 years ago. In fact back in the old days it was the working class Italian and Irish that lived in that part of the city.

Pacific Heights, where the Pelosi home is located, is no where near the Castro, if anybody is curious. Its in another universe financially.
