Who else would use nucs in the war Russia started? The point I was making is quite a few countries could bomb a pipeline, few could toss a nuclear weapon into Ukraine or elsewhere. Therefore, equating the two events is not reasonable. The pipeline damaged Russian property, a nuclear weapon would damage Ukraine, we already know Russia doesn’t care about destroying every inch of Ukraine. There is only one nutcase who has threatened nuclear war. Only one country in the conflict has brought the use of nuclear weapons up as a recourse to losing, that’s Russia.
