Socialism seeks to defy the reality of (positive) elements of fundamental human nature... fails.. Here we disagree... most animals and especially primates ex humans.. do not have a big altruism component .. without that humans would not dominate .. pretty simple.. we do not need a lot of altruists... but we need them... a few ideals of socialism promote that... aren't you tired of having entitled yet stupid folks often in control.. not because of merit or ability .. but because of connections.. ? Socialism at its best seeks to promote the best and the brightest from wherever they come... Like anything humans touch though it is easily corrupted .. corruption makes headlines.. good rarely does :) ...
