COTS as of October 25, 2022 Shockingly Bullish. This week in gold and silver the commercials decreased their net short positions. Ed Steer's comments: on silver: "... we're still on the launch pad for a major rally ..." "But at the moment it appears that Big 4 shorts have silver's price in 'care & maintenance' mode..." until the catalyst occurs, that black swan event we've heard so much about. on gold: "Incandescent...white-hot...you pick the adjective to describe [the] wildly bullish COMEX futures market structure in gold at the moment." "And, like in silver, all we await is the spark that will be allowed to set it off." on commodities: "Of course this bullish set-up extends into copper, natural gas and WTIC...plus a whole host of other commodities that don't trade on the COMEX."
