It is a sad attribute of cities that the more people in them, the more they lean left. NYC, Chicago, LA, Houston, D/FW, you name it.

I think a lot of crime problems are pretty easily fixed by dumping lousy DAs and allocating money to cops. The court systems stink, though, and need to be fixed. I don't know if there is a system better than cash bail, but I know that getting rid of cash bail looks like a pretty bad idea to me.

I was amazed to hear a couple weeks ago that a total of 46 cops were on duty one night in New Orleans. That city needs to be evacuated if you can't have more cops than that on duty. Seriously.
