If it was UHC's money at risk, it's an economc decision on its part that premiums should increase, just as if they were underwriting policies for cigarette smokers. If it was the state's money, and UHC was just in an administrive capacity, it was a prudent use of tax dollars. Sisolak blew it when he violated his own mandates, and that was stupid (Boris Johnson and Nancy Pelosi did similar stupidities). But I think Nevadans ought to grow up. If this country is governed by theocrats and puritans, they can kiss their casinos and economy goodbye. Libertarianism can expect a similar fate.
