Micron with zip adopted as standard by a national lab I work for Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, a large-ish research institution managed by the Univ. of California with federal money. To simplify the support of PCs, the Lab has settled on a standard configuration. Any non-conforming PC will require a waiver to buy, and tech support will cost more. The price of the standard system will be at some Lab-negotiated rate. The configuration is a Micron Millennia MME 233, with various bells and whistles, including an Iomega ATAPI Zip Drive. I don't know how many PCs we buy per year, but this seemed like interesting information. cheers Eve
