I believe GM and Ford are going to find replicating Tesla's success is hard enough without helping fund the competition. Musk is one of the great engineers on the planet. And more committed than almost all of them. It is going to be really hard for GM & Ford to make their self-imposed deadlines for producing quality Evs, IMO.
