The big thing is if you get stuck with a battery replacement. Which is rare, but whether it is in the hybrid or the Tesla, it is crazy expensive.

Tesla's battery warranty is around 100K miles or maybe 7 or 8 years. But people have had the crap out then they are facing a huge expense item.

However, most people buying them seem to be positioned to deal with that.

Someone needs to sell battery insurance for Evs, and I think that will happen before long.
