Well, its really a WAG this qtr, see the paragraph at the bottom, but just doing the earnings calculation from the numbers they provided it is this:
Revenue: 5.6B non-GAAP gross margin: 50% non-GAAP op ex: 1.5B Shares outstanding: 1.63B
So, ((5.6B x 0.5) - 1.5B)/1.63B = 0.798 or 80cents.
Now they also have these two statements that make me scratch my head a bit:
In addition, the third quarter results are expected to include approximately $160 million of charges primarily for inventory, pricing, and related reserves in the graphics and client businesses.
That would be 10c/share but does it impact non-GAAP?? One-time events are not normally included in non-GAAP, so that hit shouldn't be there, but if it is, then my 80 becomes 70c/sh.
Then the statement below, taken at face value, says they might change any of the numbers if they decide too, and the changes may be large!
