The permanent bureaucracy in DC has gotten into an unwritten contract with the Dems. A "public/private" political partnership. Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours and look the other way when you go bad. The management shakeup is going to have to be BIG to eliminate this badness. Musk seems to be providing a template for that.
