opalapril, Great summary. When the fundamentals are in line with TA look out. Rumor that Pier 1 is considering a buyout also makes a lot of sense. 1)Most Pier 1 stores are either stand alone or in strip malls, so Bombay stores (mostly in malls) make a good fit. 2)If it looks as though Bombay is starting to get its act together, Pier 1 will want to move before market cap catches up to reality. Waiting another couple of months could make the buyout of a profitable Bombay much more expensive.3)Pier 1 has the management and retailing expertise to make Bombay hum & zing.
