Reread the part I wrote about roadmap. How much do 486 chips sell for today? That's what IDTI will be making on its Winchips in 9 months.

If there's one thing to be learned from AMD and Cyrix, its "easier said than done." In my opinion IDTI's weakness is the lack of sophistication of its product. I'm not convinced it can hold its own as the rest of the field advances its technology. I'm not even sure AMD's roadmap is good enough to keep up with Intel, and IDTI's product is nowhere near as sophisticated, even if they're only aiming at the low end.
