You’re right, this war may be the most important question… ever. Unless our elites can solve this issue without gong MAD, no other questions have any real importance.

The American public opinion on Ukraine is mixed. It seems to reflect concern about the current strategy of Escalation without Diplomacy.

Both parties are divided (except Dems are almost certain to follow their top honchos, whatever they decide). On balance, my sense is that the Gov will continue supporting Zelensky - with money, weapons and “volunteers”.

Be it as it may - as crazy as it sounds - todays governments have the power to end the world. If they do that, and we become scattered little molecules - at least we could be proud that we stood up for the right of what used to be Ukraine to join what used to be NATO.
