Good Morning Kirk,
Democracies experiment in driving in the right lane and then the left lane.
Politicians come up with nice sounding themes and swear they are the way to go. If eloquently expounded on, they get acceptance.
Time then does it relentless "SHOW ME".
That's where the truth meets the Political "NOT SO".
We then have a collective awareness as to whether our lifestyle is advancing or declining.
We are but a week away from a pivot.
The overreach of the woke Democratic representatives has been sensed to be insanely over done and most of it has very little value in so far as advancing our lifestyle, wealth, or sense of fairness.
It has particularly struck a third rail of mass rejection when those parents out there were told we know better about your child than you do. WRONG MOVE by the overreaching Dems, who are just so intelligent that they know the best. Bad judgement personified
Once again they told us we are dumb. This time they kept quiet about it as they wanted their agenda not to go home. It failed as guess what kids talk to their parents and ask questions.
It was a much more subtle approach than calling us gun toting rednecks "Irreversible Deplorables" BUT once an awareness of their actions surfaced - it once again showed their true "SUPERIOR THAN THOW" Elitist views of those how do not perpetuate their power and control.
IMHO, this using both lane's of Democracy is one of the most brilliant features of our sytem.
WE CHANGE LANES FROM THE RIGHT AND THE LEFT. IT DISGUSTS THE LOSERS AND MAKES THE WINNERS HAPPY. IN THE LONG RUN, IT KEEPS US ON THE ROAD AND NOT IN THE DITCH.
Along this wondrous road of Democracy, we learn what works and what's just nice sounding words that are often totally ineffective. Some with virtue, but don't work, get modified and relabeled, more often than not only to proved the core of the idea is not successful.
The big take away to me is:
The working individual is best equipped to efficiently earn and spend their wealth.
Government at its best must be judged by their successes and strike out those that do nothing ( often they only line the politicians pockets from industry lobbyists only). Generally government is wasteful and the least efficient.
Government must be trimmed and kept small.
Regulations must be judged and eliminated if they do not result in wealth creation for all.
Politicians who determine winners and losers are at a severe disadvantage, as their decisions only positively impact a portion of the society. The losers do not like losing.
The successful politician make decisions that enhance all of the population - they are those who lead and repeat. They grow the country.
There are those who preach class envy and try wealth transfers - often successful in finding supporters.
There are those who see collective ways of growing wealth for all. They understand an economic truism: Wealth CAN NOT BE SHARED UNTIL IT IS CREATED!
It does not take more than two years for the collective society to realize that those in charge are either incompetent in creating wealth for all, or collectively corrupt and wasteful of the finite resources our society has the capability to produce and subsequently share.
This next Tuesday will prove such a turning pivot and give us a lane change, IMO.
