Here's what I've read regarding the Chinese SAMR review process timing which may now be meaningless with Chinese/USA relations but, for what its worth: Now that the merger application has been accepted by the SAMR, the clock starts on the three phase review process. Phase I (A 30 day Initial Review), Phase II (A 90 day extended review IF deemed necessary), Phase III (Another 60 day extension IF deemed necessary). All three review phase are 150 days or about 5 months. This puts us at the end of March 2023. Since SIMO and MXL are both saying 2nd to 3rd quarter now they are either being very conservative or, and more likely, the SAMR is not following it own timing.

I wonder if this "Chinese regulatory acceptance of the filing" triggers deadlines for acceptance / rejection / a decision?

I've been unable to find out what it means that China "accepted" the filing....
