Brazil's Masterstroke!
Elect a known conman. He will dress himself as environment champion and the pressure will be off Brazil's back!
Have you noticed how the media and people got excited about Lula "saving" the Amazon as soon as he was elected?
His first trip abroad? COP27!! "Environmentalists cheered Lula's election win on Sunday after he campaigned on promises to protect the Amazon rainforest and restore Brazilian leadership on climate change."
It raised an eyebrow. This guy is not even inaugurated and he goes to this climate jamboree?
So, Lula is part of the plan to soften the ESG money to gush into Brazil!

Brazil's Lula to attend COP27 climate change summit

By Lisandra Paraguassu and Jake Spring

SAO PAULO, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Brazilian President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will participate in this month's COP27 United Nations climate summit in Egypt, the head of his political party said on Tuesday.

Environmentalists cheered Lula's election win on Sunday after he campaigned on promises to protect the Amazon rainforest and restore Brazilian leadership on climate change.

He defeated President Jair Bolsonaro, a right-wing nationalist who has overseen rising deforestation and appointed climate change skeptics as ministers.
