I don't think people understand that the 101st Airborne is a light infantry division. VERY light. They are meant for special operations that consist of a quick "in and out". They are not made to engage a combined arms force with heavy weapons. They would be slaughtered. Uh, what? Yeah, tell that to the dead Nazis in Normandy and at Bastogne.
