Chinese companies lose Tel Aviv light rail tender
The Green and Purple Line tenders, for one of the largest infrastructure projects in Israel’s history, were seen by officials in Washington as a major test of Israeli China policy.

Unclear how Israel buying sort-of-same for further phases of the project from very-expensive France and de-industrialised Germany would help especially as the Saudis continue to roll with proven technology and super duper pricing. In the meantime USA has no alternative solutions as in the case of 5G
