It has been an interesting few days in the courts system. If you have been waiting patiently for the upcoming week of Thanksgiving to attend the CRIMINAL trial for Neldon and Glenda Johnson ... Don't get in line in front of the courthouse quite yet. You're going to have to wait a while longer. That trial has been postponed until Jan 30, 2023. Next year. One of the stated reason(s) for that delay, as it says in a recent filing is: Defendants are currently negotiating with the Government in an attempt to resolve this matter without a trial. The parties need some additional time to complete these negotiations. Resolve the matter out of court, without a trial? What a concept !! I'm curious what is being negotiated. The Johnson's "Contempt of Court" actions are pretty clear cut and well documented, so it's almost fershure they will lose if they go to court. The indictment was filed against them back on Dec 8, 2021. Almost a year ago. Case 2:21-cr-00513 Sure is a pretty day. TED
