I don’t see any reason for this. Indeed, Trump received quite a few angry comments from conservatives. The reality is that it makes no sense for DeSantis to run - unless Trump decides NOT to run. Even if Ron would manage to beat him, the result would be a split rep party and a Dem President.

What does Trump want? A Dem Governor for Florida?

Maybe it’s a fake? But people checked and it sounds like it’s real.
