I don’t quite understand why Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy have as much influence as they do. Both kind of slept through their political careers. DeSantis talked to them? And even if he did - why it that a reason to attack him publicly 3 days before the elections? I’ve watched DeSantis in action for the past few years - and it’s probably true that he’s the best governor in the nation. Great value. Trump - who will be a few months short of 79 in January of 2025 - should have better reasons to attack the most promising young(ish) Republican leader.
