There are similar reports on the Ukrainian side that they rounded up civilians who had been identified as collaborators or spies for Russia, some identified by the wearing of white arm bands. Like the counterinsurgency operations run by the US and UK, families and associates of these people were also rounded up, interrogated, and executed.
