Shit happens all around us. The shooting of dogs is probably our smallest problem. No shortage of crazies with gun, knives etc who do not target dogs.

On a much more positive note … I just found a home for a somewhat not easy to handle three or so year old rather large “Heinz 57” rescue dog. Friends of ours who always had expensive “pure bred” / sinfully expensive dogs. I had to commit to turn the dog into a reasonable canine. Wish me luck as he is a real challenge.

Right now I am using our Shepperd as a “teacher”. Initial results are not bad. That is until we encounter rabbits, coyotes or other dogs.

How do I get myself into stuff like this? :-))))
