That’s very good, Mq. I like lucid. I think it’s the opposite of obfuscation and ignorance - which, by some definitions, is the opposite of corruption.
>>Hopefully Rand Paul, Tulsi and like-minded people will take over from Pelosi people in a few days.<<
Hopefully, but not probably. Most of new arrivals will spend the next several weeks figuring out their “positions” - meaning, they’ll study the pecking order among different blocks and clicks in Congress - and which way the political winds seem to be blowing. Having done that, they’ll select a list of most promising convictions.
Tulsi, actually, isn’t even running for office. She’s becoming a public intellectual trying to appeal to the non-ignorant, non-corrupt part of our collective conscious (I know, strange concept, and probably a contradiction in terms). Anyway, she’s aspiring to be a grownup among those who missed development milestones.
Being an adult and a sane person is an accomplishment.
It’s a challenging path, she’ll be making mistakes - but she’s trying. |
