Nothing to ignore. Even if they did everything in Ukraine that you claim (they didn't but I'll go with it for the moment), Putin still initiated the war. They didn't attack Russia. And even if they did that would be the US initiating an attack on Russia, not Ukraine initiating the attack, so this war would still be on Putin.
If I'm surrounded by a pack of thugs, I won't be waiting for them to actually strike the first blow before I make a feeble response. I'll go full thermonuclear while I still have a chance. Whining "Oh, but Mq, we hadn't actually touched you, all we did was stomp on your child's face, who isn't actually you, so legally you don't have a leg to stand on." Maybe the non-existent court of Supreme World Government would find you are right after a decade of Den Hague pondering consideration. Or maybe they, too late, would find that I was right to go full out on self-defence while I had a chance and in the face of actually described and done threats and actions.
You know how Americans whine about RussiaRussiaRussia influencing USA elections, which they don't, do you think the rules-based international order makes it okay for Obama, Biden, Nuland and co-conspirators to not just influence Kievan elections but arrange, fund and supply an actual coup and murders?
Did you see a Russian top bloke claimed he did a lot of influencing USA elections? Hilarious. Obviously a trolling claim to foam up people who are credulous. The man who started that Russia mercenary operation. The something or other group.
