Peter, expense reductions, in theory, go on forever. But remember all the federal budget "savings" programs we've seen over the years. There is NO assurance that the savings will fall to the bottom line because: 1) The estimate may be wrong; 2) Competitive conditions may result in price reductions; 3) Excess capacity (if that's what the software creates) may not be needed; 4) Since the dawn of the first computer, wags have stated that costs would go down with the new gizmos; 5) It may take longer to implement than expected; 6) The software may not live up to its billing.

I'm sure there are other things to consider but those are off the top of my head. My head feels better now. :-)
