A few years ago, I was sitting next to a local Republican honcho at a country club dinner. I brought up the subject of Dems having a virtual monopoly on influencing the young minds. He heard me out - and his reply was “You know, when they’re young, they’re always leftist - but once they grow up, and have their own families - they come to us”.

That’s typical for a party that has abandoned the education field to the Left. But, incidentally, a man like DeSantis makes a big deal of it.
