Inode,
While all may have the right, the nation is far better off if single issue voters and the ignorant who are coerced by leftist occupied storefronts in Philly to cast votes for the blue candidate of the day (who they probably can’t name), just stay home and watch Gillian’s island.
A democracy cannot survive with that mentality.

First of all, there are many leftists who believe the same way you do. Except that they think the people who should stay home are you underedumacated gun-toting flag-waving white "supremacists."

Just remember, THEY are the ones with college degrees. They can prove it to you with their massive college debt bills.

While you grunts are busy either working for Big Oil and Coal, or getting high on meth, they are busy either working for "sustainable" energy companies, or learning to code, or community-organizing.

Their lives matter. Their votes matter. Yours do not.

And second, I can point out an example of a society where the people became depoliticized and voluntarily gave up their rights and their power to a cabal of kleptocrats.

That society is RuZZia.

When you give up your civic duty to vote, when you give up your voice or tell others that they should give up theirs, you are not advocating for democracy. You are instead advocating for some sort of authoritarian republic.
