I’m really glad that you got a more in-depth accurate diagnosis. I know it doesn’t change your pain and discomfort but hopefully it’ll aid you in your treatments going forward.

As for the election I am very happy with the results. A repudiation of Trump, Democrats lose control, and Extreme pro-lifers also repudiated. This was the first election I did not vote in quite some time. I’m sure there were good candidates on both sides that I should’ve investigated further but on a party level I just can’t bring myself to vote for either party at this point. Trump’s recent attacks of DeSantis once again show that he’s unfit to be the leader of the republican party although it took a number of people on SI four years to find any major flaws in Trump. Many of these pathetic retches still listen to Alex Jones for information.

The stuff happening in crypto world is all part of bubbles unwinding but if you find the background story on FTX and Binance it’s pretty interesting. Looks like FTX owns some 14% of Solana so that’s why that one is getting hit even more than the rest and I might go down further. I doubt I will speculate there given more straightforward risk rewards just shorting stocks that should get hit as 2023 estimates come down but who knows

In terms of the China reopening, Covid cases are spiking again so I think probably spring at the earliest. Supposedly China has a number of new vaccines that should be getting approval in the December/January timeframe so between the vaccines and some natural immunity spring does seem somewhat likely

I could care less how the CPI comes in tomorrow or the market reaction. If we do get any sort of a decent bounce I will simply short more as this has been the most ill-founded rally yet.

Been planning a 19 day trip to Norway this summer which requires a fair amount of time to plan out properly. An amazing country and it’s plenty of time and I still don’t feel it’s enough to see it properly

Wishing you a speedy recovery AJ
