If ever you wanted a perfect example of the triumph of style over substance look no further than the desktop computer wars. I use a PC at work. Frequent reboots and continual futzing with the OS are so commonplace that they've become unremarkable. To say that the PC and Windows has "caught up" with the Mac and the Mac OS is ludicrous. Yet this is now the recognized "standard." Amazing. Sculley, Spindler and Amelio ought to be hunted down and shot for letting the Mac get beat in the marketplace by such inferior crap.
