Hello Steve

Your response to Tallguy was as usual very professional and well presented. I was personally a little offended that he thought we could not "do the math" for ourselves and then tried to throw out totally incorrect numbers to try to back up his position, 10 bucks on 1K shares at 1/16? Anyway, I want to thank you for taking your time to present your information.

I was told firmly by you and others that I needed to get more information about daytrading before I made any more mistakes and I've taken that to heart, I've started with post number one on this thread and I'm up to the 1300's now, quite an education. For anyone else that hasn't followed this from the beginning I can recommend it, it has information that I believe you won't find anywhere else. The talk during the lead up to the "correction" at the end of October was very interesting, Particularly that Steve was advocate of being mostly cash as the signs were there for the correction.

For those of you that don't realize what a feel Steve has for the market I would suggest you read posts number 1287-1289. Some guy was touting a couple of stocks and Steve (after the rough Monday) called the stocks something the guy didn't appreciate. I hope the guy eventually took Steve's advice, Today, new market record, BOTH of the stocks he was so hot about are 60% lower than they were the day of the October correction. Does Steve know what he's talking about? Sure seems that way to me.

I do not have an account at Yamner, I am in the process of closing my Datek account. I've had numerous problems getting fills, 3 min. for a market order, 2 1/2 min. for a limit buy at the ASK. Market order sell, 50 shares at one price, 1950 shares 2 1/2 min. later, 3/16 lower, market sell order, 3/64 below current bid. Didn't get a fill at 43 1/8 on a stock limit buy at the ask, was there over a minute, stock climbs in the next 2 hours to 45 1/2. I can always get a fill if the market is moving through me, but if it's going my way, not a chance. Would I have made more money at Yamner, almost assuredly yes. More than 50% of my trades since the middle of Jan have had a similar problem.

However I love the impression of being able to enter my own orders so I'll probably try a couple of the better, faster online brokerages before I give Yamner a shot. Mainly I'm afraid if I talk to a real trader they'll talk me out of a stupid trade and my ego will be bruised or I'll no longer feel like I'm doing it. (egos can be expensive in this business)

Thanks again, Steve. Most of us appreciate the job you're doing, I for one will never complain that you let us know that we are welcome after we make our mistakes.
