Bill,

The problem with your assessment is that earnings have already been factored in as being flat for this quarter. People are looking at expectations for the rest of 1998 and beyond.

And since you so skillfully evaded my dare, I will reiterate:

Are you going to hold that short position for 4 weeks or not?? Come on now... stick to your guns. You think it is a sucker's rally and I believe that we are just consolidating for the next move higher.

I'm holding my long position for all of 1998. I don't need the tax consequences of trading around my core position.

So let me ask you... Do you feel lucky?? <wink>
