Senate: it looks like an R win in Nevada, and a D win in Arizona, which means 50 R and 49 D. So the Georgia December election will decide control.

But neither party can control every member. Manchin will defect from Dems. Murkowski will defect from Republicans. Maybe others. So nobody will have effective control, and Congress will do nothing.

That means, nobody in Washington has will have the power to do anything exceptionally stupid. Not a bad outcome.
