I know the State very well, having lived there 4.5 years, in Las Vegas/Henderson. The reason why the race is this close is because many Hispanics have turned against Cortez-Masto due to financial hardships with high gas and high inflation, hurting the tourism industry, which is a big part of Nevada's economy. Yet it did not hurt the Nevada Dems in the House races or State legislature so some of this is on Cortez-Masto not being assertive or aggressive enough.
