If these engine modifications can truly increase power as well as
lower fuel consumption, why was that not demonstrated. Everything
that was done was to maximize fuel consumption. The speed, the tires,
etc. And the fact that there was no other available engine with which to compare is suspect. Why didn't they get another Yammar engine, and
run the modified and unmodified side by side, both at a steady 40 mph.
It would have been a much more reasonable approach. That they couldn't get another such engine just doesn't wash.
