I remember Fr. Kieser very well. He had his office on Pacific Coast Highway right at the border between Pacific Palisades and Malibu. While it says: “Produced by the Paulist Fathers,” it was really just him. He would convince actors and writers to donate their talents to a good cause. As an interesting side note, Thelma Todd once owned the building that his office was in. It’s where she had the famous Sidewalk Cafe. Her body was found there under mysterious circumstances. Google her to see the building.
