| | | The best decision for Conservatives would be to have Trump step down and support Desantis. But that is not going to happen. Trump's ego is to big for that.
Trump will trash Desantis and make him look bad and somewhat vulnerable. If DeSantis decides not to run, I think Trump loses again, but this time much worse, like Stacy Abrams.
Trump is finished. Most of the country does not like him. Even the people who worked for him (while he was President), didn't like him. Sure, they did their jobs. But they made him look weak.
Now you are going to have the Trump wing of the Party and the Establishment wing of the Republican Party fight with each other for control. It will be vicious and both sides will get hurt.
In a rematch between Trump and Biden, Biden wins again.
Your Party should have destroyed the Dems, but they failed. Your Party had a very bad economy, stock market and a President with very low approval ratings and they did next to nothing with it. Sure, I am an outsider looking in, as a Dem, so I can be objective.
Again, best thing for the conservative cause is if Trump moves on and passes the torch to a younger man, DeSantis. But Trump only does what he perceives as best for himself. It's funny and sad in a way to see someone break down and lose it without realizing it.
It is called Death of a Salesman , a great play and Broadway show. |
