Imho, the Dems totally own the Ukraine war - and they also own the threat of a global war. That was a greatly important strategic and political error - and an opportunity for the Republicans. A more pro-peace stance could have appealed to many more millions of voters, including the young.

Instead, the Reps, following the Uniparty idiocy, chose to fully share the blame with the Dems.

I wonder if there was a single Rep political strategist that considered this. Likely, not. They all think like a school of little fish, using the the archaic, herding areas of their brains.

The Red Wave fizzled because the Reps failed to give the voters anything to make them think. Pointing out the current ruling elite’s faults was important - but NOT enough.

PS — I’m told Reps wouldn’t do it because they agree with the Ukr policy. To that, I say - screw them. If it all ends in a nuclear war, what’s the difference what party was the last to control the Senate?

It’s the single most important issue in history - and it’s ignored by all. Except for a few Cassandras.
