Funny how intelligent people talk themselves into things using words based on false premises.
You apparently don't know that there already was a nuclear war, started like this one with USA blockade of the targeted country.
USA won that nuclear war because Japan was unable to respond and was already heavily losing.
During and after the atomic bomb mass murders of civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the USA did not become a pariah country. Everyone kept on buying and selling with USA.
India, China, Pakistan, France, England, Israel, North Korea also have atomic bombs and therefore expect to use them under certain circumstances.
Iran and Iraq were/are getting them too. Zelensky wants them.
So you might be wrong about how pariah Russia will seem to hordes of people. I, for example, think Russia is a lot more under threat from USA and the conspiracy of Evil than USA was from Japan when USA destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
You might be under a misapprehension about how beloved USA is around the world. Dictator totalitarian boss people are notorious for thinking they are truly loved. Their polling runs 99% in favour. They fake the 1% just to pretend it's a valid poll. Watch the enthusiastic applause and adulation for Kim the Fatter to see the effect.
There is a thing called Stockholm Syndrome. It's real. It's also normal, just to fit in, survive and get up the pecking order in any organisation. Chimps, wolves, humans = similar function.
Talking yourself into being obliterated is a bad idea. People inside Stocklholm Syndrome don't know they are. Many/most really do have that identity. They aren't faking. I doubt you are faking. I guess you're a true believer.
